What is the Board of Directors?
The Bay Presbyterian Board of Directors consists of 3 church members who have general supervision and charge of the operation, property, affairs, and finances of the corporation. They are elected by the congregation and serve a three year term.
What is an Auditor?
The Bay Presbyterian Board of Auditors consists of 3 church members who serve by providing oversight for the church's financial matters. They are elected by the congregation and serve a three year term.
What is an Elder?
The 21 Elders serve on Session along with the Pastor and Associate Pastors. Session is responsible for our mission and is the governing body of Bay Presbyterian Church. Elders also periodically assist with Baptisms and Communion in worship services. They are elected by the congregation and serve a three year term.
What is a Deacon?
The Bay Presbyterian Board of Deacons consists of 33 church members who serve in ministries of mercy and compassion; click here for more information. Deacons are elected by the congregation and serve a three year term. The Board of Deacons meets once each month, but serve continuously.
