The Bay Food Ministry needs your help!
Help pack and deliver boxes of groceries to homebound families in Bay Village.
Time Commitment: 2 hours per month
Bay Food Ministry is the last Friday of the month except for holiday months and then it is the Friday before the holiday. We neet at 9 a.m. in the Rehearsal Hall to pack the bags. When they are full, the van from the Knickerbocker Apartments comes around 11:30 and the folks who pick up their own start arriving. Deliveries are made at that time, too, to those who are shut-in or working. This lasts until the last customer is served, usually around 1:30. We have two shifts of volunteers; the 9-11 crew packs the bags & the 11:30-1:30 crew makes the deliveries.
